The next edition of COLOMBIAPLAST will take place from September 26 - 30, 2022, concurrently with the XXXIII BOGOTA INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL FAIR (FIB), at Corferias in Bogota, Colombia. COLOMBIAPLAST was originally scheduled for June 2021 but after talks with exhibitors and partners, the organizers decided to postpone the event due to the worldwide COVID-19 related effects. This measure is taken to ensure planning reliability for exhibitors and visitors. The goal is to organize a trade fair that meets everyone's expectations and provides a comfortable environment to learn about trends and new developments, to do business and to strengthen contacts.
In December 2020, Acoplasticos, Messe Düsseldorf and Corferias signed an agreement for the joint organization of COLOMBIAPLAST 2022, with the purpose of strengthening its position as the leading trade fair for the plastics, rubber, petrochemical and packaging industries in the Latin American region. With this agreement, for the first time a trade fair from this region will become part of Messe Düsseldorf´s “Global Gate” portfolio of plastics and rubber trade fairs and thus be supported by Messe Düsseldorf´s extensive network of sales offices and subsidiaries in 141 countries.
